Attitude

Attitude

The new attribute is the word attitude. The definition for attitude is,” a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior”. A quote that I like is by Jack Sparrow he says,” the problem is not the problem; the problem is your attitude about the problem”. This to me what this quote means that when you face a problem in life don’t receive it in a bad mood because that’s where the problem starts. For example I have a problem to deal with but yet I need a positive attitude so that I don’t make the problem worse.

Quote by Thomas Carlyle

“A man without a goal is a ship without a rudder”
-Thomas Carlyle

I can relate to this quote because once I started high school I was way off and I didn’t feel like doing anything at all that year. I started off okay that year but then I lacked off and I didn’t think of any goals and it sucked but then I saw a quote that said, “you’ll never know unless you try”. The quote impacted me and that’s when I started to have goals and started to get active and one of my main goals was to have a goal in life.

Assertiveness

Assertiveness

The word assertiveness is the quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive. In the field of psychology and psychotherapy, it is a learnable skill and mode of communication. A quote to represent this would be, “when life puts you in situations, don’t say, “why me”?  Just say try me.”  It’s true and I can relate to this because I am mostly in situations that drive me crazy but I challenge myself. Sometimes it feels good when you have a situation to face but yet your successful at it. Do what you want I life and then do some needs for others so that they don’t go threw the same situation as you did.

accountability

ACCOUNTABILITY
The word accountability means the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility. This word has quotes that relate to this word. Everyone uses this word when they have a hard time in life. A good quote that I like that relates to this word is” The right thing to do and the hard thing to do are usually the same.”  This quote I like because it’s true what he says. Once I had made a mistake in class which was not pasting a sheet of paper on the wrong page and it wasn’t much of a difference and I was confused but it ended out to not matter as much because we had to put in order with a the table of contents. So the mistake I did wasn’t really a mistake which was the same meaning there is no way a mistake can be different from the original way to do it.
